     Congratulations to Sam Stoll and Coach Hall for being chosen to represent

Edison in the North-South All-Star game.   This is the longest running high

school All-Star football game in the country - this years game marks its 

73rd year   The game was played on Saturday April 28th at Paul

Brown Stadium in Massillon.

    Although the North Squad was on the losing end of the tough fought battle, Sam provided one of the offensive highlights of the game with a Touchdown reception and run of 53 yards.

     Charger Football players Brady Patterson, James Hill and Sam Stoll  were recognized at the 56th Annual Toledo Wistert National Football Foundation Banquet on March 19th.   Toledo University Head Football Coach Jason Candle was the keynote speaker at the event which was held at the SeaGate Convention Center in Toledo.

    Brady, James and Sam were part of a select few high school senior football athletes from Northwest Ohio and Southwest Michigan to be recognized.  To be chosen for this honor  players had to meet high standards of academic achievement, citizenship, and on field performance.

    Also honored at this years banquet was Nick Frederick, a 2017 honoree, who received a scholarship through the National Football Foundation.
